Under the Surface unfolds through fluid layers of pale green, gold and soft rose, creating a luminous field that feels both expansive and immersive. Vertical drips move gently through the composition, suggesting a slow and continuous transformation, as if the surface is in a state of quiet release. The interplay of translucency, layered pigment and fine linear markings gives the work a sense of depth, with colours appearing to shift, dissolve and settle beneath one another.
