Fine artist Antoinette Ferwerda has collaborated with Lowe Living at Hampton Hill with an exhibition of original paintings honouring Bayside gardens and coastal conditions. Enter the minimal clean lines of the Hampton Hill street entrance where the aperture changes from dark to light and the courtyard blends seamlessly with the corridor of art.
For the past 4 years, Ferwerda has been working with Lowe Living projects delivering unique art and artwork experiences for residents and visitors alike. The Hampton Hill exhibition features original paintings depicting voluptuous flowers and stormy oceans. Flowers bloom with transparent organic petals brimming with wild activity in and wild gestural strokes depict stormy seas with graphic modes of abstraction. Ferwerda achieves a level of technical virtuosity in resolving the challenge of working with mixed media and creates a point of harmonious resolution where transparency and translucency are represented as contrasting aesthetic elements.
Hampton Hill exhibition is located at Hampton Hill, 466 Hampton St, Hampton and entry is free.
